It’s not all work, work, work here. Sometimes we get the opportunity to check out some amazing team building options on your behalf and I’ve been lucky enough to do that this weekend, flying in the face of extreme danger to research the best activities for your group to bond and develop as a team!
Nestled in breathtaking Welsh countryside is an adventure-based resort… think Center Parcs but with a bit more danger and you’re kind of there. It’s an exciting place with laser clay shooting, archery, swimming pools with slides and wave machine, Espa spa and lots of outward bound activities, but the biggie is the woodland-based high ropes and zip-wire course that will knock your socks off. Only opened since Easter this year, I haven’t seen such an exciting and exhilerating team building idea for a while. It’s scary, and physically challenging but very exciting. Was I terrified? You bet! But what a great feeling going round the course and flying down the wire to finish in a big terrified but happy heap!
It’s very tranquil though, the surroundings. And has good bars and eateries on site, so there’s the opportunity to go mad, or go slow, depending on the requirements of the group.
