So I know this is going to sounds like marketing guff, but here at Pretty Clever we’ve always been hot on relationships. We work with our clients closely, trying to give them what they need, but at the same time offering the benefit of our experience. Even making suggestions on a strategic or logistical basis. I’m sure there are companies that say the same sort of thing. But we mean it. We really like to get stuck in and help!
What’s interesting this week in Meetpie News is that a study by the World’s Leading Conference Organisers (WLCO) has found that associations and non-profit organisations are actively wanting to work with PCOs and conference organisers who can offer strategic input into their events. They don’t just want a team that ticks boxes, they want a conference support service that can roll up its sleeves and get properly involved.
We love hearing this – it’s very much how we like to work. We’re currently operating as PCO for a large non-profit conference coming to Brighton in September and it’s been great being involved at some of the decision-making and strategic meetings. It helps us as conference organisers to build a close working relationship with the client, but equally offers real value to them in terms of their event content.
Increasingly we find ourselves involved in the marketing and PR of events too, and our online registration and conference IT development team means that we can create bespoke online services which really give the associations and conference groups a dynamic and vital event portal, not only for communicating clearly with their existing member database, but helping to increase that membership and promoting the client’s services. We help spread the word.
Conferencing is changing, and we’re really working to stay ahead of the game. Why not contact us to see how we can help with yours? If you’re looking for a PCO that can add significantly to the overall structure of your conference or event, or assist with advice on improving ROI, we might be just what you’re looking for
