Having done a bit of research I’ve discovered that there are lots of people out there that have no idea that they could save oodles of time AND money when they use us to do their venue search. Then there are those people that think they would save money if they do it themselves – it’s simply not true!
I thought I would dispel all the myths and put up the answers to a few of the questions that we are frequently asked.
How does it work?
Well, you come to us with your brief which might include categories such as: number of people, type of event, date, location, type of venue you are looking for (i.e budget, 5*, boutique hotel, conference and meetings, catering requirements etc). Once we are clear about the type of venue you are looking for we do the search for you. What this means is that we contact all the venues that fit within your category, we negotiate the best cost for you, put the venues on hold and then present you with a detailed proposal. Once you have short listed the venues we will arrange site visits for you and then assuming you like one of them we will confirm it on your behalf and ensure all the contract details are correct. It really is that easy!
How would it benefit me if I use your venue finding service?
We work in the world of events 24-7 and to run an event we need a venue. We work with venues every day and have good inside knowledge of which venues work and which don’t, which venues to avoid, where the deals are and where you will get a good service.
Whats the catch?
There is no catch, venues look at us as an extension to their sales force and so work with us to make sure that we are presenting you with options that are affordable and, importantly, that work for your group. DDR’s start from as little as £19 per person – I think you’ll agree that’s not bad!
What type of venues are your venues suitable for?
Conferences, Christmas parties, summer events, outdoor events, awards nights, gala dinners, team building, AGM’s, development days, exhibitions, festivals and weddings to name but a few.
How is this service FREE?
Well, we get the best price for you and because of our long standing relationships with venues across the country and our industry accreditation we earn our money not out of you but by form of a commission from the venues. Our costs to you are transparent and NOT marked up by us or the venue.
If I went direct could I get it cheaper?
In short NO, in fact it might even cost you more! There is absolutely no benefit whatsoever with you doing the search yourself, it will only cost you your valuable time so it makes total sense to let us do it for you.
How long will it take you to get me the information?
We aim to have a full proposal of options to you within 48 hours. Not bad eh?!
