The Olympic torch relay to come to Brighton

There is a gentle background buzz relating to the Olympics and we know the frenzy will soon start.  Here at head office we’re excited to hear that the Olympic Torch relay will come to Brighton & Hove on Monday 16th July 2012 as it tours the country before the 2012 Games.

There are approximately 70 celebration locations that have been chosen to represent iconic aspects of the UK. There will be a special evening event on Hove Lawns staged by LOCOG and the Presenting Partners, Coca-Cola, Lloyds TSB and Samsung which will mean we can all celebrate the local cultural and sporting scene. The event will end with the lighting of a cauldron from the Olympic flame. It will be a night to remember so if you’re in the vicinity, make the effort and join in the fun.
