Eek! Last night I bought tickets to see The 1975 at Ally Pally. And it got me thinking. Alexandra Palace isn’t the obvious choice for a little Indie gig, but event and venue don’t necessarily have to match. Contrast is healthy. You could have, say, a Caribbean dinner on a yacht in London, or a World Cup themed event at Windsor racecourse. In the world of highflying events, there’s no wrong answer and anything is possible.

In the past, we’ve held events in disused planes, yachts on the Thames, teepees, castles and palaces. Some of this year’s events have already seen some wicked themes, including the World Cup, ideal for those nine to fivers eager to get on a pitch, and Alice in Wonderland – it doesn’t get much madder than this!
