Winter may be fast approaching, but that’s no excuse to lock yourself indoors and miss out on some fantastic team building opportunities near you!
Last week, Pretty Clever organised a team build for over a hundred delegates in Milton Keynes. From face painting to cake making, geography lessons to line dancing, they did it all. There were smiling faces all round, especially mine when I heard some of the team names (unable to repeat for professional purposes). Tony Harris was our entertainer for the evening, with his hilarious commentary and trademark pink suit. ‘Didn’t They Do Well’ proved a fitting name for the winning team, who scraped first place by one point!
Not all team builds require out-of-town travel and long stints out of the office. Sporting champs can now play golf at some of the world’s top courses without leaving London. City Golf opposite the Bank of England accommodates large parties (up to 250 guests), or we can find you a sporting venue close to a specific location. Many surrounding London hotels have on-site golf courses and spacious grounds for outdoor games.
Presenting an innovative concept for entertaining colleagues – the ladies in particular – The Perfume Studio in Brighton is offering participants the chance to create their own fragrance. This indoor activity sees guests settled with a glass of bubbly before creating their own blend of scents in a bottle to take home. This activity only lasts a few hours and is ideal for smaller companies.
At Pretty Clever, treasure hunts aren’t just for kids. We’ve taken the popular treasure hunt concept and added a bit of modern technology to create our GPS Challenge of team games that can be played in either an urban or rural setting. There are a number of activities to choose from to improve teamwork and reward your staff. You’ll be given an iPad or Android tablet loaded with all the clues you need to take with you around your chosen location.
