Head’s up, Pretty Clever has a new culinary team build, using the cooking of paella as the vehicle! Think The Apprentice meets Masterchef (without the scary advisors.) Against the clock, teams must work together to create and cook an authentic paella from scratch. Progress, organisation and finally the cooked paella itself will be judged. Prizes will be awarded and yes, you’ll be eating your paella with your colleagues afterwards!
And that’s not all we do when it comes to food-based fun. Our cookery school in London offers the ultimate Cook and Dine experience at two kitchens, one in Oxford Circus, the other near St. Paul’s Cathedral. From classic Italian cuisine to macaroon making and sushi rolling, there’s something here for everyone.
Those of you with a sweet tooth will love our range of chocolate challenges, where teams must gather equipment and raw ingredients to make their own tasty truffles.
There’s also a Saki and Sushi workshop that can be run as a full or half day event. Enjoy six different saké from the Akita region of North Japan, followed by zensai tapas. Mm, mm!
Our cocktail masterclasses can be run in both Brighton and London. Create (and drink!) 3-5 cocktails of your choice while learning the history behind each one. Down in Brighton, our Molecular Masterclass will teach you how to create different textures and serve drinks in unusual ways. Change the flavour of foam, use egg whites effectively and add popping candy to create a kick!
With winter approaching, these heart and tummy warming activities are the perfect add-on to a Christmas party, or can be run as a separate event.
