A glimpse at the future

We’re super excited about Brighton’s coming attraction, the i360!

Designed by the masterminds who brought us The London Eye, the Brighton i360 is destined to be one of the UK’s most iconic attractions and the world’s tallest moving observation tower, boasting 360° views of Sussex from 162 metres in the sky!

Already, the i360 is generating controversy. Some believe it will be an eyesore, but others (like us) couldn’t be more excited about the progress it’s making and the impact it will have on bringing more visitors to Brighton.

This unique tourist destination isn’t just an observation tower. It’s also an event venue! The flexible conference and party spaces will consist of The Beach Hospitality Rooms, the 1866 Tollbooth, the Boardroom and the Pod. Hospitality Rooms will cater for 10 – 200 people and open onto a private beachside terrace with space for up to 1,000. Meeting rooms will hold 200 in theatre style and 38 in classroom. And if that isn’t enough, there’s going to be a 400 seater brasserie showcasing Sussex’s finest produce with views of the photogenic West Pier.

There’s talk of a team build too, although this one’s not for the faint hearted! Dare to abseil from 450 feet out of the glass pod with the help of a trained instructor, with the option to video your journey along the way. This can be combined with a meeting, a ride or dinner in the brasserie.

The unveiling of the i360 looks to be the event of 2016, not just in our quirky little city but around the world. We’re now taking bookings for next September, so get yours in quick. We have a feeling spaces are going to get snapped up fast and wouldn’t want you to miss out!
