They say fools rush in where wise men fear to tread… So here comes a new troupe of celebs, rushing in, pell-mell, to participate in a new season of I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here. Vaguely familiar faces include Tony Hadley, Chris Eubank, Yvette Fielding and the usual TOWIE types ready to stir up trouble!
We’re only two episodes in but it’s already kicked off in the camp. Lady Colin Campell showed her true colours when she refused to take on a task after camp leader Tony Hadley nominated her and Yvette Fielding as the laziest candidates. So far the challenges have been pretty terrifying but are set to get a lot worse. It’s been great fun watching Fielding struggle outside her comfort zone without Derek Acorah to tell her what’s coming. It’s a little early to tell, but our money’s on Hadley to take the crown. He took being covered in 30,000 cockroaches and grasshoppers a little too well last week. It’s a wonder the SAS doesn’t recruit celebrities…

Tasks are simple but malevolent. Blind Food Tasting will see you tackle an unrecognisable assortment of substances. Identify the ingredients for extra points for your team. In the Touch Challenge, you’ll be sticking your mitts inside a range of swag bags and guessing what you have hold of. The Bush Tucker Trials test communication, creative problem solving and above all, personal strength! Our friendly ‘Ant and Dec’ will be there to guide you every step of the way, and to present the winner with that all-important Jungle Crown.
