It’s time to set a date in your diary because the i360 is opening in just a few days! On August 4, Europe’s tallest observation tower will be open to the public – though we can’t guarantee you’ll get on straight away; this is the most pre-booked event of the decade!
What does it do?
Think the Spinnaker Tower, but taller, and moving. Take a flight into the skies and see Sussex as you’ve never seen it before. Once inside the spacious pod, you’ll glide up (slowly) to 450 feet and enjoy breathtaking 360-degree views for up to 26 miles. It’s said you can even see across the channel!

It’s not just an observation tower
The i360 has been described as the world’s first vertical cable car and was designed by Marks Barfield Architects, the creators of the London Eye. These whiz kids also built in a range of conference rooms beneath the structure, a Brasserie restaurant and a 1000-seater terrace, perfect for large events.
